Critical Information is an interdisciplinary graduate student conference,
which provides a platform to assess current scholarship and research at the
intersection of art, media, and society. Critical Information is
particularly interested in engaging both collaborative and individual papers
or projects that address the following issues: Art and Social Theory,

Oil painting for Adults

Oil painting for Adults is a three-day workshop, in this workshop students will learn how to paint metal objects and reflective surfaces. It focuses on the foundation of beginning/intermediate painting such as color theory, color mixing, and painting techniques with an emphasis on texture, value and reflective qualities. All skill levels are welcome; individual attention given to each student. The paints used are non-toxic and water soluble. All materials, supplies and canvas are included.
Age: 14 and up are welcome

Prague Summer Theatre School 2012 applications sought, deadline April 30

Prague Summer Theatre School 2012 at the Theatre Faculty of the Academy of
Performing arts in Prague (DAMU). Application deadline just around the
corner!

All applications must be received by April 30th, 2012. The PSTS admits
qualified students on a first-come, first-served basis.
The PSTS is still accepting applications for courses in authorial and
alternative theatre forms, puppetry, set design, and mask making &
performance. Courses are in English and will take place at DAMU, located in
the heart of Prague's historical center.
The PSTS is an excellent way for non-Czech speaking students to acquaint
themselves with DAMU, especially for those who may be interested in applying
to its Erasmus program and/or the M.A. programs in English. University
