The Children's Arts Festival provides a wonderful opportunity for parents and children to enjoy a day discovering the arts together. Hands-on arts activities and free performances provide a delightful celebration of the rich and cultural traditions that thrive in our own backyards! This year, festival activities will focus on being kind to our planet, so all crafts projects will be created from found and recycled objects easily found in the home.
The City of Buena Park is looking for fun-loving individuals who would like to participate in this year's festivities. We have plenty of craft and workshop tables that need staffing. Volunteers may need to arrive early to event for setup/training.

Here's an intriguing organization that was just brought to my attention: Wage for Work, based on the premise that art contributes to the economy, and that artists should receive "payment for making the world more interesting."

Lots of links to look at on their page. They have a point.
A few slivers of film I put together of me in various things....wanted to make them into a stream of feelings...the kind I've had while looking in a bathroom mirror on a train going somewhere.....reviewing where I've been and wondering where I'm going...
