Commissioning Editor: Francesco Pedraglio
Book Works is looking for proposals for three new commissions, that suggest a strictly non-representational response to the use of archives, the treatment of history, the appropriation of knowledge and redistribution of meanings.
I tell you my friends: forget all about archives. What we need now is this Time Machine. It's no more a problem of understanding what this gathering is all about. We now have to experiment with it, see what we can really get out of it.
What was next? What will be previous?
Deadline for proposals is 9 July 2010. New commissions will be published in April 2011.
