Frieze Art Fair announced today the call for entries to the Emdash Award 2012. The Emdash Award is open to artists living outside of the UK, up to five years from graduating from an undergraduate or postgraduate degree or under 35 years of age. The Emdash Award is part of the Frieze Projects programme, produced by Frieze Foundation, supported by the Emdash Foundation and presented in collaboration with Gasworks.

Nationally known watercolor master George James will present ideas about how he creates his award-winning paintings. Join us to see his work, lecture and demonstration live! Free parking and restaurants are within walking distance.
George is a professor emeritus of art at California State University, Fullerton. By abandoning traditional methods of painting, he has discovered a new, creative watercolor process. As a result of this unique and original approach to watercolor painting, his most recent work has been recognized in major exhibitions and periodicals.
