AMP connects artists and behind-the-scenes collaborators of all genres, including musicians, painters, performance artists, writers, dancers, and many more, with resources, opportunities, and personal connections. Many AMPers also provide free temporary lodging for other members. With thousands of members in 86 countries, AMP enthusiastically and energetically builds bridges between artists, audiences, and producers through our website, as well as at AMP-hosted parties and multimedia events worldwide. The Institute for Art in Public Space Styria is holding a one-stage, open call competition. Artists of all disciplines are invited to explore the topic OPEN FIELDS—Art and Agriculture. They will spend two to four weeks on a farm and develop, as a result of their insights gained from this stay, a temporary work of art. Tell us your idea, the artistic disciplines it involves, and any other information that will help us place your show into our season! Be creative in regards to COVID protocols, social distancing and audience size limitations. Live/Virtual hybrids, video projections from street view, exterior site lines, and conceptual approaches are all fair game. Proposals which consider outdoor winter weather conditions may be considered for post-season presentation. This year LPV is happy to be programming in partnership with Green Oasis Community Garden located nearby at 370 E 8th Street.
