Seeking an Assistant Director for small arts museum
Organization: Casa Dolores, Center for the Study of the Popular Arts of Mexico
Title: Assistant Director
Supervisor: Associate Director
Time Commitment: Tuesday -- Saturday from 12 noon -- 5 pm (25 hours per week)
The Assistant Director provides administrative and programming support to the Associate Director. The following responsibilities are some, but do not reflect all that the Assistant Director will be charged with.

Nine Grants for Teaching Artists
The Jubilation Foundation wants to bring forth the joyful side of human
nature for a whole and healthy world. We believe that music and movement --
wherever and however it happens -- can promote well-being in the individual
and the community.
Jubilation Fellows (individuals) receive $5000/year for two years. The
deadline to apply is February 28, 2013. You may nominate yourself or someone
else, but only residents of the United States are eligible. For more

TREE OF FIRE
Written and Directed by Jesse Bliss
The Roots and Wings Project is proudly going into production with TREE
OF FIRE, a play written by Jesse Bliss. TREE OF FIRE opens International
Women's Day - March 8, 2013 at Inner-City Arts' The Rosenthal
Theater in DTLA. This play has a rich, four-year history of staged
readings and excerpt performances at Lincoln Heights Jail, S.P.A.R.C. at
the Old Jail in Venice, and Theatre of Note.
Production Information
The Roots and Wings Project is holding auditions for TREE OF FIRE, a
play written by Artistic Director Jesse Bliss. We are casting for three
female actors.
Tree of Fire - Synopsis
When a Magnolia tree catches fire in an aged and ominous women's
REDCAT is seeking original performance works for the next edition of Studio, REDCAT's quarterly series of new works in progress in dance, theater, multimedia and music. If you have a project 15 minutes or under and would like to be considered - apply now.

*What:* Call to Artists for "Bite Me" Art Exhibition
*Where:* McGroarty Arts Center, 7570 McGroarty Terrace, Tujunga, CA 91042
*Deadline:* February 5, 2013 at 5pm. This is not a postmark deadline.
*Description*: The Art Exhibition is a special opportunity for visual
artists from the local community to exhibit and sell their work in themed
and curated gallery spaces. Visual artists working in all mediums are
