Call for participation in Chinatown project, Eastern Connecticut State University Art Gallery

from Franklin Furnace

Dear Artists,

I am Julia Wintner, the director of Eastern Connecticut State University Art Gallery.

As part of our project centered on Charles Yu's book Interior Chinatown, I am looking for video recordings of walks through various “Chinatowns" across the US and internationally.

These video tours will be featured as part of our online Interior Chinatown project (funded by NEA Big Read) that includes an art exhibition and programs featuring talks by artists and scholars on the subjects explored in the book).

Additionally, I plan to seek archival recordings from the Museum of Chinese in America, NYC and the Chinese American Museum in LA, our partner institution.
