The City of Inglewood, California invites professional artists to apply for Inglewood Growing Artists Projects, funds to assist in the creation and/or completion of an original artistic project to provide a cultural benefit to the City of Inglewood. The project must be completed within one year of signing a contract.
Funding: Three awards will be made: one at $25,000, one at $15,000 and one at $10,000. Artists may apply to any funding level; a separate application is needed for different funding levels. If artists are collaborating, a lead artist must be identified to manage the Artist Project, receive and report on the funds.

The Los Angeles Academy of Figurative Art is seeking a qualified adjunct creative writing instructor for the Summer 2013 Quarter.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's in English, literature, comparative literature, or composition OR Bachelor's in any of the preceding disciplines AND Master's in linguistics, TESL, speech, education with a specialization in reading, creative writing, or journalism OR
The equivalent of
- 2 Years teaching experience - college, university or institute of higher learning.

Its antecendents were to be the Weimer Bauhaus School and Black Mountain College, and it was meant to function as an alternative to Paris's École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts.

ARC 2013 3rd Quarter Grant
Guidelines and Application Now Available
Guidelines for the 2013 ARC (Artists' Resource for Completion) grant
program's third round of funding are now available at
www.cciarts.org/arc.htm. The application must be completed online through
the GO™ system at cci.culturegrants.org. (*Please note that the GO™ system
is a separate website and NOT the same as the CCI website.)
The final rounds of ARC funding in 2013 and 2014 are open to Los Angeles
artists who have never received an ARC grant and would be "first-time" ARC
grantees. The deadline for the 3rd Quarter grant is August 1, 2013.

Guidelines and online Application for the upcoming Visual Arts, Craft and
