The Pasadena Museum of California Art (PMCA) is dedicated to the exhibition of California art, architecture, and design from 1850 to the present. Informed by the state's rich mixture of cultures and inspired by its impressive geography, California art has long been defined by a spirit of freedom and experimentation. PMCA exhibitions and educational programs explore the cultural dynamics and influences unique to California that have shaped and defined art in all media. The mission of the Pasadena Museum of California Art (PMCA) is to present the breadth of California art and design through exhibitions that explore the cultural dynamics and influences that are unique to California.

The Pasadena Museum of California Art (PMCA) seeks a Membership & Bookstore
Associate for a full-time position. This is a non-exempt position. Work
hours are Wednesday to Sunday 9am to 6pm.

*Qualifications*
The position has the following requirements:
• Previous sales/customer service experience needed
• One year experience in membership services, or other office experience is
preferred
• Knowledge of Mac and PC (including MS Office software), and point of
sales (POS) system
• Knowledge of E-tapestry or Raiser’s Edge a plus
• Must be exceptionally outgoing and personable with the ability to
interact effectively with
Museum staff, volunteers, members, and visitors

The Music Center, home to Southern California's iconic venues --
Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Ahmanson Theatre, Mark Taper Forum and Walt
Disney Concert Hall -- is the gateway to the finest performing arts for
all who live in or visit Los Angeles County. A leader on the
international stage, The Music Center is redefining what it means to
experience the performing arts by presenting the most compelling,
highest quality engagements; ensuring that audiences of all ages are
introduced to the arts; and extending the reach, accessibility and
impact of everything it hosts, inside and outside its four venues.

Currently The Music Center is in search of a Program Associate to assist
in the areas of programs and events in its Programming Department,

The Arts Council for Long Beach seeks Long Beach artists for an upcoming photography exhibit, Nomadic Exposure, to showcase the numerous public art installations throughout the city of Long Beach. All photos must be taken with a mobile phone camera. Discreet, quick and readily accessible, the lenses in such phones let professional and amateur photographers alike capture on-the-spot images. What was once something of no value on a mobile phone is now used by professional photographers as another medium of artistic expression. The convenience of these cameras encourages people of all levels of photographic skill to engage with their surroundings and bring a unique perspective to Long Beach's public art collection.
