Chuck McPherson returns to the Brea Art Gallery to share his passion for watercolor painting. Known for his flamboyant style and his over-sized paintbrushes, Chuck makes his workshops not only educational, but also entertaining. In this thrilling intermediate workshop, students will explore unconventional and freeing techniques using non-traditional materials.

Landscape in Mosaic with Dawn Mendelson

In this exciting new mosaic course, students will design and make a two dimensional landscape scene on a flat surface! Unlike typical mosaic classes that focus primarily on pattern, this class will teach students to 'draw' with glass and ceramic pieces to illustrate a beautiful, stylized landscape inspired by nature.
No previous artistic or mosaic experience necessary, all skills levels are welcome! Students are encouraged to bring images and other inspirations to use in the class.
