Work in a creative environment at Theatre Of Hearts/Youth First, a mid-size non-profit arts education organization. The Program Coordinator works closely with the Executive Director on all aspects of program design, progress, and report.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
-designing residency plans to align with California Common Core and Visual and Performing Arts Content State Standards with Professional Artist Mentors;
-establishing and maintaining schedules and timelines for residencies, workshops, performances, grant applications, and grant reports;
-facilitating meetings with program sites, Professional Artist Mentors, and funders/clients;

Elders Share the Arts (ESTA), founded in 1979, is an award-winning New York City-based community arts organization whose mission is to use art to ignite the creativity of older adults and cultivate elders' role as bearers of history and culture, and generate new pathways to connect them to their communities. ESTA's residencies are a springboard for developing and researching replicable programs, and so we developed training that provides organizations with the opportunity to help serve this growing population.

Ideal candidate has deep, demonstrable knowledge of contemporary art practices, traditional media, digital media, arts pedagogy, customer service, employee supervision, and program management. Director of Studio Programs is responsible for all aspects of the department, which serves 1,500+ students per year.

II*” -- a juried show of California coastal fine art.
Visual artists are invited to enter this exclusive representational show,
which will take place October 14-30 at Riviera UMC, 375 Palos Verdes Blvd.,
Redondo Beach, California. Artwork will hang in the Ocean View Room and

Opening Act Assistant Teaching Artist Positions

Job Description: Opening Act seeks Assistant Teaching Artists for its after-school theater programs in New York City’s public high schools. Teaching artists will work as a team to bring together a strong ensemble of students, give them a foundation in improvisation and acting technique, and lead them through the creative process of devising and performing an original production which will be performed by the students in a professional theater. All Teaching Artists will be trained throughout the year and Assistant Teaching Artists have the potential to become Lead Teaching Artists after a year of working with Opening Act.
