Open call for projects 2017

Application period: October 1–December 1, 2016

Perspektive – Fund for Contemporary Art and Architecture, initiated by the Bureau for Visual Arts of the Institut français Germany, aims to support projects happening between France and Germany. It is funded by the French Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Culture, the Institut français and the Goethe-Institut and it is supported by the Deutsche Bank to reinforce the cultural cooperation between the two countries.

The call for projects by Perspektive runs from October 1 until December 1, 2016.

In February 2017 the artistic expert committee will announce the projects that shall receive funding for implementation in the same year.

The Franchise Exhibition Program gives creative individuals from any location and experience level the opportunity to organize an exhibition to be presented anywhere in the world except New York City. apexart accepts 500-word text-only proposals for focused, idea-driven, original group exhibitions. Employing a unique merit-based approach, the proposals are reviewed by an international and diverse jury of more than 150 people. Four winners receive funding for their projects, and work closely with the apexart team to bring their winning ideas to a locale best suited to the exhibition's theme.
