ABOUT THE FELLOWSHIP:

Artists and other creative professionals are encouraged to apply with ideas for projects that expand their practice beyond its traditional boundaries. The Fellowship for Utopian Practice is a process-based fellowship, and Culture Push will help Fellows develop big ideas that have real world applications.

Kaimera Productions is seeking performing artists and performance ensembles that can create a 30-minute performance for the first workshop of an international project: Living Altar. Performers of any medium - dance, theater, opera, performance art, circus, music, etc - are encouraged to apply. Kaimera will present the initial draft of this ambitious piece at the LaGuardia Performing Arts Center on May 23rd & 24th.

2017 ART021 Shanghai Contemporary Art Fair will take place on November 9 to 12, 2017 at Shanghai Exhibition Center. This year will mark the fifth anniversary of ART021. The 2017 edition will continue on its previous success and will once again present a prestigious line-up of galleries and art organizations, offering the most celebrated art festival from Shanghai.

ART021 is currently accepting applications for Main Galleries and APPROACH.

Main Galleries is the main sector of the fair, focusing on 21st century contemporary art.

Hello artists and artist supporters!

I'm reaching out to you specifically to see if you might be interested in submitting your completed video art work—or sharing this opportunity with other artists—to be considered for our Single Channel Video Art Festival. (Deadline to submit is April 7.)

The festival is dedicated to video art (or digitized film) and occurs over two days later in the year. Last year, we screened the festival at Anthology Film Archive, which we'll likely do again this year!

You can submit up to two works (ideally 3–15 minutes in length for each). The guidelines and submission form are available here:
