apexart invites 500-word idea-based group exhibition proposals for our 2026-27 International Open Call from February 1–March 1, 2026. Five winning proposals will each receive a 10k USD exhibition budget to become apexart exhibitions in their respective locations around the world as part of our 2026-27 exhibition season. Curators, artists, writers, and creative individuals, regardless of experience level or location, are invited to submit a proposal online.

The John Michael Kohler Arts Center is now accepting applications for the 2027 Arts/Industry residency, a three-month program hosted by Kohler Co. in Kohler, Wisconsin. More than 600 artists have benefited from this celebrated artist residency since its beginning in 1974. The funded industrial residency enables artists to produce ambitious new works in vitreous china, cast iron, and brass.

The CUNY Dance Initiative invites New York City choreographers and dance companies to apply for 2026-27 residencies. Integrating the dance community with NYC's public university system, the CUNY Dance Initiative provides local artists with rehearsal and performance space, plus teaching opportunities and a stipend, on 14 CUNY college campuses across the five boroughs.
NYC-based independent choreographers and professional companies working in all dance styles, from contemporary to classical to culturally specific forms, are encouraged to apply.
