About 20 selected photographers will receive US$3,500 to produce works

The Core Program: Artist and Critical Studies Residencies
Call for Applications
Deadline: April 1, 2009

The Core Program awards artist and critical studies residencies to highly motivated, emerging visual artists and critical writers who have completed their academic training but have not yet fully developed a professional career.
About the program
I finished this one -- prior form was half-baked so kept working it. I like it now, and that the face looks different depending on upclose and small.
I also like that you ( meaning I ) can still detect original drawing lines in some parts.
Changed this one --again.
I think this is it. wanted to retain the drawing, especially the face, while darkening the background. ...drew these crudely a while back on index cards, colored in w/ colored pencil and now photoshop'g them.... WHY?????
