The Wassaic Project is currently seeking 5 summer interns to work in
Wassaic, NY and NYC.

ABOUT
Work with a group of young, passionate artists and curators at The Wassaic
Project, a vibrant multidisciplinary arts organization in Wassaic, NY and
New York City. Programming interns learn about aspects of curating and
producing an art exhibition and arts and music festival, from curating,
press, marketing, event planning, exhibition hanging, gallery management and
more. Because The Wassaic Project is a small, young organization, interns
have a unique opportunity to contribute to the long-term identity of the
organization and take on substantial responsibility. Interns have the

The Luna Playhouse Theatre Company is participating in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this year. We are doing two shows. One of these will be a production aimed at Families/Children and will consist of folk tales or short, suitable plays from the various ethnic cultures of Los Angeles.
We have an Armenian and a Japanese one already. So if you know of any Central American, Korean, Persian, Filipino, Chinese, East Indian (etc.) piece that we can stage (with minimum props and scenery- it's a long way to Edinburgh) please contact us as soon as possible.

Choir and theater director(s) sought by West Valley community high school.
We are an innovative and pluralistic Jewish high school that is looking to fill the positions of theater director and choir director with either one or two high-spirited, creative and entrepreneurial artist/educators. The ideal candidate/s would not only have experience teaching, and possess a mastery of their discipline, but would also have knowledge of, and interest in, Jewish culture, history and ritual. We are looking for someone who is both grounded in tradition and open to experimentation and collaboration.

San Fernando Valley artists are invited to submit their work for
consideration for the Valley Artists Studio Tour (VAST) 2011.

During the weekend of October 1st and 2nd, 2011, the public will be
invited to visit local artists' studios, meet the valley's many
fine artists, and purchase their work.

This will be a ticketed event with proceeds going to local arts programs
sponsored by the San Fernando Valley Arts Council.

Tour hours will be from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on both days.

A reception for the artists will take place on Saturday, October 1st
from 7:00 to 9:00 pm This event will allow the public to mingle with the
artists while enjoying live music and refreshments. A group exhibition
will be open to the public a week prior to the tour.

The Cinema Studies Program at Oberlin College invites applications for a full-time non-continuing faculty position in the College of Arts and Sciences. The 2011 TPN Summer Art Colony will be taking place this July 3rd -July 24th
in Portobelo, Panama. This year the colony is 3 weeks longs to allow
participants to really get into a good groove in their creative process and
better immerse themselves in the beauty and culture of Panama. The deadline
for applications is Friday, April 1st.

In addition to living and working in Portobelo, we will travel around Panama
City visiting galleries and artists, experience the vibrancy of Colon, and
enjoy the white sand beaches of Isla Grande.
