AMP: Artists' Meeting Place and Resource Collective

MiMoDa resident choreographer Alexandria Yalj, is now offering a 2 part
advanced repertory dance class designed for professional dancers.

Part I - Foundation
Basis focusing on alignment, core strength, breathe, and exploration of
gravity.Alexandria has succesfull incorperated ideas from her own training
of Limon, Horton, Cunningham, Graham, and Simonson techniques and culminated
them with her own fresh energetic flavor and musicality to create exciting
warm up. These "dances" promote physicality, stamina and agility enhancing
performance quality awareness and execution.

Part II- Research
Combining improvisation and the dynamic choreography of Alexandria Yalj,
this improvisational lab has been specifically developed for investigation

The Professional Internship program at A Noise Within allows serious theatre
artists to gain invaluable experience by working alongside professional
actors and technicians during a repertory season.
ACTING INTERNS
Acting interns are cast in a supporting role in one or more plays during the
season, receive over 120 hours of professional training, and gain hands-in
experience in technical theatre. PRODUCTION AND DIRECTING INTERNS

This is a fantastic opportunity if you'd like to gain knowledge of the music industry and the local California music, self-help and entrepreneurial scene.

Professional voice lessons gracefully entwining the voice and the soul; interactive workshops and Soul Singing Circles on the power of vocal expression as a healing tool; Reiki sessions with vocal toning. We provide opportunities and performances that emphasize healthy vocal technique, self-exploration and confidence building through the vehicle of the voice.

Street Beat is regrouping the dance element of its performing arts touring show.

Initiated in 1994 the Curatorial Programme of Arts Centre de Appel wishes to offer young curators a condensed package of experiences and skills that can be used as tools and instruments during the further development of their professional career. De Appel is an internationally oriented arts centre located in Amsterdam that functions as a site for research and presentation of contemporary visual arts through a series of exhibitions, performances publications and discursive events.

Gyeonggi Creation Center Residency Studio Program: Call For Artists

Gyeonggi Creation Center supports creative work and research for domestic and foreign artists, curators and theorists through an art residency alongside a wide range of programs and facilities. GCC acts as a platform to gather artists, curators and theorists from all over the world for international exchange and as an experimental and progressive contemporary art center to collectively engage and cultivate synergy among artists of various genres.

For the 2010 Residency Studio Program, GCC will accept applications from artists, curators, and theorists working in visual and media arts. Artists, curators, and theorists may apply in December 2009.
