Eligibility: Competition open to all artists living in Southern California. Entries must be work created within the last three years.
Media: All media. No craft or functional pieces. *For video: please send DVD and make sure disc is cued. Accepted video artists must provide their own equipment/monitors, projectors, DVD player, etc. Discs must be set up for continuous play.

The Museum of Latin American Art is currently seeking a Museum Events Intern to assist the museum¡¦s Events department. MOLAA is the only museum in the western United States that exclusively features contemporary and modern Latin American art.
Job Description
Events intern will aid the Museum Events department with database entry, mass mailings, marketing museum events and clerical duties related to MOLAA¡¦s events. This candidate must have one year of relevant office-related experience with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

The Context Gallery has established a reputation as one of the most vital venues for the presentation, promotion and dissemination of contemporary art in the north of Ireland. In 2009, the Context Gallery moved back to its former site in a newly renovated space in the heart of Derry, restarting a rigorous exhibition program and challenging off-site projects.
Diavolo Dance Theater, a premiere dance company based in Los Angeles is seeking both men and women to join their 2010-2011 touring season. Performers must have a strong background in modern dance, contact improvisation and some gymnastics ability will help. Diavolo is currently in it's 12th season touring nationally and internationally and just performed with the prestigious Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl this fall. Artistic director Jacques Heim has also recently completed choreographing KA for Cirque de Soleil, which is currently running in Las Vegas.The AUDITION will be held on the following dates in the following cities:

Community Arts Resources is producing Los Angeles' first "ciclovía" -
a program that began 36 years ago in Bogotá and which has now spread
world-wide.
CicLAvia turns LA streets into safe, fun places for walking,
bicycling, jogging, and enjoying exciting outdoor activities. By
making some roadways temporarily car-free, CicLAvia opens 7.5 miles of
city streets to the public from 10am to 3pm on October 10, 2010. The
CicLAvia route stretches from Boyle Heights to East Hollywood.
We're looking to artists to make this first pilot event on 10/10/10 a
creative success and a model for future CicLAvias (we plan on many
