The Los Angeles County Arts Commission's Civic Art Program is seeking an artist or artist team to execute artwork for the El Cariso Community Regional Park in Sylmar, an incorporated community in the San Fernando Valley.
ARTWORK
The selected artist or artist team will work closely with the project design team to develop the artwork. Opportunities for artwork include paving treatments at the entrance and/or the creation of canopies for the seating areas around the newly constructed soccer fields. The artwork should consider the vast offerings at the park, as well as reflect the history and diversity of the local community.

Associate Educator, Teacher Programs
The Skirball Cultural Center seeks an Associate Educator for its teacher
programs. The Associate Educator is a member of the Skirball's
Education department and reports to the Head of School and Teacher
Programs. S/he works closely with other school and teacher program staff
and a corps of school-tour docents.
This is a full-time, 40-hour/week position with benefits. The Associate
Educator schedule is generally Mondays through Fridays, but s/he must be
able to work on Saturdays when teacher professional development
workshops are occurring.
Responsibilities:
-Create, develop, and implement all museum- and performance-based
professional development programs for Pre-K through Grade 12 teachers.
Tech Person needed for Site-Specific play. 10,000 sq ft old bank turned bookstore/record shop/performance venue: The Last Bookstore on 5th and Spring, Downtown LA. Will be late night tech, after business hours since it's a running business. Show opens October 29, we start tech October 23. Simple lights and projectors. GORGEOUS venue. 30 feet tall ceilings.
