The Pasadena Museum of California Art (PMCA) seeks a Membership & Bookstore
Associate for a full-time position. This is a non-exempt position. Work
hours are Wednesday to Sunday 9am to 6pm.
*Qualifications*
The position has the following requirements:
• Previous sales/customer service experience needed
• One year experience in membership services, or other office experience is
preferred
• Knowledge of Mac and PC (including MS Office software), and point of
sales (POS) system
• Knowledge of E-tapestry or Raiser’s Edge a plus
• Must be exceptionally outgoing and personable with the ability to
interact effectively with
Museum staff, volunteers, members, and visitors

Disney Concert Hall -- is the gateway to the finest performing arts for
all who live in or visit Los Angeles County. A leader on the
international stage, The Music Center is redefining what it means to

Currently The Music Center is in search of a Program Associate to assist
in the areas of programs and events in its Programming Department,
The Arts Council for Long Beach seeks Long Beach artists for an upcoming photography exhibit, Nomadic Exposure, to showcase the numerous public art installations throughout the city of Long Beach. All photos must be taken with a mobile phone camera. Discreet, quick and readily accessible, the lenses in such phones let professional and amateur photographers alike capture on-the-spot images. What was once something of no value on a mobile phone is now used by professional photographers as another medium of artistic expression. The convenience of these cameras encourages people of all levels of photographic skill to engage with their surroundings and bring a unique perspective to Long Beach's public art collection.

From ARCOmadrid we want to thank the participants in the last edition, both galleries and guests, who have helped to communicate the good results and opportunities for new projects generated at ARCOmadrid 2013.
The next edition, which will take place from 19 to 23 February 2014, will once again be a meeting point for gallerists, collectors and art critics around the works of the artists present at the fair.
The City of Inglewood, California invites professional artists to apply for Inglewood Growing Artists Projects, funds to assist in the creation and/or completion of an original artistic project to provide a cultural benefit to the City of Inglewood. The project must be completed within one year of signing a contract.
Funding: Three awards will be made: one at $25,000, one at $15,000 and one at $10,000. Artists may apply to any funding level; a separate application is needed for different funding levels. If artists are collaborating, a lead artist must be identified to manage the Artist Project, receive and report on the funds.

The Los Angeles Academy of Figurative Art is seeking a qualified adjunct creative writing instructor for the Summer 2013 Quarter.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's in English, literature, comparative literature, or composition OR Bachelor's in any of the preceding disciplines AND Master's in linguistics, TESL, speech, education with a specialization in reading, creative writing, or journalism OR
The equivalent of
