Open Art Exhibition Now Online and Ready to View

The Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that its November 2013 art exhibition is now posted on their website and is ready to view online. An art competition was held in September and October 2013 which determined and judged the art for this exhibition.
The gallery did not have a theme for the art competition which was used to determine the participants to this exhibition. 2D artists who applied were allowed to select their own subject matter.

The gallery received submissions from 24 different countries from around the world and they also received entries from 36 different states and the District of Columbia. Overall, there were 673 entries that were judged for this art competition.

The University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) Visual Arts
department seeks applications from creative and rigorous-thinking
animators/artists with expertise in both camera-based and computer

Project Bully Free Zone seeks teaching artists

IMMEDIATE OPPORTUNITY
School and After School Program Teaching Artists

Project Bully Free Zone is seeking energetic and experienced teaching
artists to work on a consultant basis with NYC public school students (K-12)
in-school and after school integrating the arts into academic subjects.
Experience with special needs students and/or English language learners.

A flexible schedule is essential, as artists must be willing to travel to
multiple boroughs and must be available to work at least two days per week.
Commute times to the schools are often more than one hour, including travel
to the outer areas of the Bronx, Brooklyn, Staten Island and Queens.

Applicants must have a BA college degree and 2-3 years of teaching
