University of Central Florida Art Gallery, Orlando, seeks artists

from Franklin Furnace

Dear Friends,

I am writing to you as director of University of Central Florida Art Gallery in Orlando, FL.

I would like your help developing a new artists residency project at our gallery.

This project will annually engage up to 4 visual and/or performing artists who will work with individuals living with memory disorders and their caregivers. These visits to Orlando could last between one to two weeks, and involve workshops and an exhibition at the Gallery.

This project will be funded by a local donor.

If you can recommend any artists working with these issues, much appreciated. If you are one of these artists, please direct me to relevant online documentation, or via email attachment.

Thank you in advance,

Art & Context seeks artists to interview

from Franklin Furnace

Art & Context is interviewing Artists about Achieving Sustainability:

artandcontext.org

Art & Context relaunched last month, exploring a new model to provide accessible tools to help artists achieve sustainability. After visiting hundreds of artist studios, we recognize that even the most successful artists run up against problems of time, money and attention...how to find time for creative pursuits and also achieve prosperity (in ways that are about more than just money). We are interviewing artists about what holds them back or how they have overcome obstacles. If you'd like to schedule a 10-minute interview, go to: http://bit.ly/1GyA7ul We'd love to hear from you
