Nominations for the 2016 Sobey Art Award open on Thursday, February 4, 2016. The Award will distribute a total of 100,000 CDN to Canadian artists aged 40 and under who have exhibited professionally within the last 18 months, including a top award of 50,000 CDN, a 10,000 CDN prize to each of the other short-listed artists, and 500 CDN to each of the other long-listed artists.

Heidi Duckler Dance Theatre seeks strong, dynamic, and theatrical teaching artists for our dance education program, Duck Ed which includes varies programs.

Our Duck Ed Program is one in which our 1961 Vintage Oasis Trailer becomes a mobile classroom in a curriculum-based initiative for schools, after school programs, and community centers culminating in students performing original choreography as well as a company performance of At the Oasis.

Our Duck Tales Program is intergenerational bridging the gap between young students and elders.

All teaching hours, rehearsals, and performances are paid. We have residencies beginning as early as March and auditions will be held at the end of February.
