Deadline: May 8, 2016
AiOP invites proposals for its twelfth annual public art and performance festival, taking place from October 6-9, 2016, along 14th Street in Manhattan, from Avenue C to the Hudson River. We welcome a broad range of artistic disciplines that provoke the consciousness of the community, including visual, installation, performance, time-based media, virtual/gaming work, online-IRL hybrids, and others. We encourage projects that explore 14th Street’s history and heterogeneity, and that actively engage the public. This year’s focus is RACE to which we ask: Who? What? Where? When? Why? How?

by Frank Moore
Chapter 24 - APPENDIX 1 - Platform For Frank Moore’s Presidency 2008
http://jukepop.com/home/read/9120?chapter=24
ABOUT THE BOOK
Frank Moore’s Shaman’s Den streamed live on the internet almost every Sunday night from 1998 until Frank’s death in 2013. The Shaman’s Den was a 2 1/2-hour variety show featuring in-studio concerts by bands from around the world and in-depth conversations about politics, art, music, and life.
In this volume, the first in a series, Frank and his guests explore a wide-open field of topics and present new, alternative ways of looking at everything from current economic and political situations to personal relationships.
