Art Metropole and Fogo Island Arts are seeking applications for The Islands, a two-part residency that aims to encourage arts writing and criticism in contemporary art. Open to Canadian and international applicants, The Islands will take place on Fogo Island and at Artscape Gibraltar Point on Toronto Island, Canada, from May 1 to June 15, 2017.
Contemporary Art Gallery Online announces their 4th Annual International “All Photography and Digital Art” Online Art Competition for the month of December 2016. Contemporary Art Gallery Online encourages entries from all Digital and Photographic artists regardless of their experience or education in the art field. A group exhibition of all entrants will be held online at Contemporary Art Gallery Online during the month of January 2017. Awards will be given for the top 5 chosen winners. In addition to the winning images, depending on the amount and the quality of the entries received, Honorable Recognition awards will also be presented. This competition closes December 31, 2016. Winners will be announced on January 16, 2017.
