Episode 6, “Learning the Trickster’s Art”, of the LET ME BE FRANK web documentary series has just come out. This episode features readings by poet/musician Kirk Lumpkin and poet/artist Daniel “Attaboy” Seifert, both frequent guests on Frank Moore’s Shaman’s Den show. This episode also features “I Have My Ways”, the next installment of a new animated segment, “How To Handle An Anthropologist”, which features interviews from the upcoming book by the same name, a collection of 12 years of conversations between anthropologist Russell Shuttleworth, PhD and Frank Moore.

OPEN CALL for a 2017 SUMMER RESIDENCY at OyG, in conjunction with a SOLO EXHIBITION in September 2017
One artist will be awarded a three-month residency in a 400 sq ft. semi-private studio adjacent to Ortega y Gasset Projects gallery at The Old American Can Factory, from July 2 – September 30, 2017. The residency will culminate in a solo exhibition in September of 2017 in the main gallery space at OyG.
The exhibition will be curated by OyG Co-Directors and will include an opening reception and one programmed event (an artist talk or a closing event), and will be promoted on OyG social media outlets.

Kaimera Productions is seeking performing artists and performance ensembles that can create a 30-minute performance for the first workshop of an international project: Living Altar. Performers of any medium - dance, theater, opera, performance art, circus, music, etc - are encouraged to apply. Kaimera will present the initial draft of this ambitious piece at the LaGuardia Performing Arts Center on May 23rd & 24th.
