Celebrated on 17 January 2024... On this date in 1963 action poet/artist Robert Filliou dropped a sponge into a bucket and declared ART to be 1,000,000 years old. THis year Artcite Inc and NobelPeaceProject will celebrate by posting ALL the Paper Bag Portraits we receive @artciteartsbirthday

Kunstraum is calling for submissions for our 2024 Exhibition Program.

Emerging and mid-career artists are invited to submit their work for consideration in our group exhibition in the spring, curated by our upcoming 2024-2025 Curator-in-Residence, Emireth Herrara Valdés.

Kunstraum is a community for artists by artists, aiming to redefine the way artists and curators collaborate. Our program seeks to explore the relationships between artists and curators by opening our gallery space to those interested in exploring unconventional, engaging ideas and taking risks.

Spike Island in Bristol is looking to appoint a new Director and Deputy Director to lead the organisation from April 2024 onwards.

This annual juried exhibit showcases artwork from all over the state of California. MICA strives to highlight artists in all stages of their careers and offers them a chance to compete for a number of cash prizes, as well as the coveted solo show opportunity. This regional show features artwork from an extensive variety of mediums and explores creative movements happening in California.
