AMP: Artists' Meeting Place and Resource Collective

What do you think happens when a group of artists are taken out of their comfort zone and given a kit of unfamiliar materials? The Art of Thought, a concept from artist Kim Abeles, answers this question. First employed by giving artists a kit of identical materials, each artist ventured down a different creative path. This tradition is being re-introduced while moving the concept forward with all new artists and all new base materials. The opening reception will be on August 9th from 7-9. There is no cover charge and we will be serving hors d'ouvres. Hope to see you then!

Gallery hours are Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday, 12 to 5 p.m.; Friday and Saturday 12 to 8 p.m.; Closed Monday, Tuesday and holidays. Admission is $2 and Brea residents are free.
