I like blueberries. I read in a magazine a long time ago that the reason that Boo-Berry cereal didn't sell well was because humans are instinctually afraid of eating blue objects. Evidently blue objects found in nature are always poisonous with the exception of the blueberry. When I eat blueberries it terrifies me to the soul and thus they are delicious.

blue in nature
That's funny because I took a class on foraging once, and my teacher told me that the heirarchy of danger for berries goes like this : blue, red, white. With blue being "they're probably safe to eat", red being a russian roulette of sorts, and white being "they will almost certainly kill you". So if humans had evolved properly, we would have a natural attraction to blue. But then, I guess a lot of rotten food turns blueish, so maybe that's the reason.
