...I feel there is a story to the painting. I can see the artist who has just finished three study portraits. She feels lonely today, so she's been painting. After spending a few hours in front of the easel, she is now relaxing, sipping hot tea while sitting in a quiet room, watching canvases dry. Nobody to call, nothing else to do, she reflects on her life. Looking at the painting she notices little imperfections and is deciding how she can correct them. Time is passing by, tea is cooling down, she is still sitting there, quiet, calm, lonely, yet inspired.
