Magnum Foundation Fund: US Dispatches
This fall, Magnum Foundation is supporting several short-term visual projects responding to the social and political issues surrounding the US elections. We are seeking proposals by community-based and innovative visual storytellers that will provide expansive perspectives on this critical moment in US history. Some potential areas of exploration, though we also encourage photographers to submit stories on other topics that they see as relevant to their communities:
-Voting access and voter suppression
-The eviction crisis and voting
-Disenfranchisement and criminal justice
-Immigrant, refugee, diaspora communities and voting or organizing
-Movements for racial justice
-Community responses to police violence
-COVID and the healthcare crisis
-Education and schooling in the time of COVID
Proposals are due Sept 23, 2020. Apply here: https://magnumfoundation.submittable.com/submit/174013/magnum-foundation...
