Substitute Art Instructor
We are a non-profit Art Center which nurtures gifted artists with developmental disabilities. Our success is due to the chemistry between the artists and Art Instructors who use their personal artmaking process to guide our artists through self-expression.

Requirements:

BA or BFA; Knowledge of various art techniques and mediums including: acrylic paint, drawing, ceramics, printmaking
Can accommodate a flexible schedule
Must have a reliable insured vehicle.
Can easily carry up to 30-40lbs
Can follow instructions
Can install an tear-down gallery shows (including: measuring, lifting, packing and unpacking artwork, preparing walls, light usage of power tools)

We are looking for individuals who:

§ are comfortable working in new settings on a regular basis
§ love the artmaking process
§ are intuitive and creative
§ love contemporary art
§ have patience

We offer:
Flexible schedule
$12 - $15/hr Dependent on Experience
The opportunity to assist in curating exhibits at our Downtown Gallery
