Arte Laguna and the Italian cultural association MoCA (Modern Contemporary Art) presents the 6th International Arte Laguna Prize 2011, dedicated to visual artists worldwide.
The Prize is aimed at supporting emerging and already well-known artists, giving them the possibility to show their artworks in high quality expositive settings around the World. No age limits are required.
There are 5 sections: painting, sculpture, photographic art, video art and performance, virtual art. The topic is free.
The Prize's popularity is growing every year: more participants, more sections (for example the virtual art section, dedicated to art created using pc or smartphones apps), more visibility for artists.
This 6th International Arte Laguna Prize's total cash prize amount is 170.000 Euros, 7.000 Euros per section, but besides money, Arte Laguna Prize offers many opportunities to artists, such as art residencies, personal exhibitions in galleries, collective exhibitions, attendance at international Festival and so on.
