The City of Brea Art Gallery is pleased to host Watercolor West’s Annual International Juried
Exhibition. Taking watercolor painting to a new level of difficulty, Watercolor West Society continues to exclusively feature transparent watercolor paintings. They do not allow artists to introduce any white paint into their work; they can only use the white from their paper. This year’s juror, Jerry Stitt, is a renowned painter, teacher, and author as well as a member of several watercolor societies worldwide. The gallery will exhibit 100 fine watercolor paintings selected from over 1,000 entries submitted from a global community of artists. Watercolor West will organize a series of fascinating, reasonably priced seminars to compliment the exhibition.
