this be my first blog on AMP. I will try to post with some regularity...

Anyway, the bog story for us right now is our search....for a booking agent!

I wrote a little letter, which I will be sending to prospective agents. If anyone knows how to improve the letter (or knows any agents....!) feel free to comment or contact me. Thanks in advance for your interest.

Greetings!
My name is Neil Alexander, and I am the leader of Neil Alexander & NAIL, a cutting edge musical group playing a crossover of jazz/funk/jamband/ambient. We are seeking representation. Our goal is an international touring schedule. After defining our sound, releasing a new record and establishing ourselves on the local scene, we are seeking a young, determined booking agent who is ready to go the distance. I am certain that with the right representation we could be the next Medeski Martin & Wood, Bela Fleck or Pat Metheny Group. I will stop at nothing to accomplish this.
