Part-time, contract position available: Project Coordinator, CHIME in
Southern California (SC)
Work commences: September 1, 2012
Reports to: Jackie Bendzinski, Director of CHIME
CHIME (Choreographers in Mentorship Exchange) is a program of the
Margaret Jenkins Dance Company (Margaret Jenkins, Artistic Director).
Now in its eighth year in the Bay Area and its fourth year in Southern
California CHIME encourages mentoring relationships between
choreographers of different generations, providing stipends and paid
studio time for mentoring activities for one year, sponsored showings of
work investigated during the year of exchange, and regular meetings of
Primary responsibilities will include overseeing technical
aspects and operations of performances and special events,
scheduling load-ins, technical rehearsals, and post-show strikes,
serving as lighting, sound and/or video Operator, and working
in cooperation with the Artistic Director and Facility Manager.
Ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and efficiently,
to prioritize and meet Production deadlines, and to
work smoothly with the Artists and their Staff
are all essential elements.
Must have working knowledge of production scheduling,
lighting, sound, video, rigging, staging protocols,
and basic applicable computer skills.
This position is Part-Time .
Average bi-weekly paycheck will work out to around $500.+

The Dance Resource Center of Greater Los Angeles is a service organization that provides the dance community access to information, resources and services; and promotes the visibility and awareness of Greater Los Angeles dance on local, state and national levels.
Director of Marketing
Position Description: The Director of Marketing for LBO is accountable
for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of all marketing and
communication activities. The individual in this exempt position,
functions as a member of the company's senior management team and
reports directly to the Artistic/General Director (A/GD). Direct reports
include Box Office Manager and Marketing Associate(s).
Primary Responsibilities:
* Maximizing earned income revenue by developing and executing
strategic and comprehensive annual and multi-year marketing and public
relations campaigns
* Managing major growth in audience size among subscribers and single
ticket holders
* Managing the effective growth and evolution of the LBO brand both
locally and nationally
Six Points Internship
The Six Points Fellowship supports individual artists in the Los Angeles and New York area who want to develop new projects with a Jewish focus, theme or element. Marketing Manager, Grand Park
The Park Operations Department is seeking a creative, experienced, and
technologically savvy professional to join the new Grand Park team.
Reporting to the Program Director, this qualified candidate will be
responsible for creating annual marketing plans, with a focus on unpaid
advertising and promotion, and developing and implementing comprehensive
and innovative marketing and communications.

The Park Operations Department is seeking a detail-oriented, organized,
technologically savvy administrative assistant to join the new Grand
Park team.
A qualified Administrative Assistant provides administrative and
secretarial support to the Director of Grand Park. This position
oversees the administrative operations of the entire park department,
with a staff of six.
Responsibilities include:
· Coordinate and implement a wide range of administrative,
communication and logistical services in support of the
Park Director's daily management activities and special projects in
a fast-paced environment
· Act as the first point of contact in the Park office and
provide patron service and support

The Music Center Programming, Grand Park is seeking a visionary,
committed and experienced programming professional to join the new Grand
Park team. Grand Park is a beautiful 12 acre public park that adds
spirit and vitality to downtown Los Angeles. The Park stretches from
The Music Center on the west to City Hall on the East. The new park
celebrates the cultural life of Los Angeles County and is host to
community events, cultural experiences, and holiday celebrations amongst
other activities that engage and attract visitors.
