Let's meet (as in communicate)

Dear fellow Artists.
The idea of building this website came from strong desire to build a community. The community implies interaction. Interaction is a cornerstone of any relationship. Relationships define the community.
Why are we not interacting? Friends, we are artists, we thrive on feedback, and we need re-assurance. Just having talent is very different from being recognized as a talented artist.
Commenting on each other’s work will do the trick, trust me. I personally would not believe my friends and family when they told me time and again that I am a true artist. Their opinion was contingent on our friendship, I thought. They were not objective, I thought.
As soon as I posted my art on AMP I got feedback from other artists, who certified my artistic status. Now I know what I need to do with my life!
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Art, please take a second to click the “Add Comment” button under a piece of art you liked, and tell the artist that you liked it. Please, utilize messaging service to send the fellow artist a quick note with your praise or critique.
Become buddies, chat on the phone, do project together, MEET UP!
After all we all are members of Artists' MEETING Place.
Help the AMP Director make the dream come true, and build a true community, not just another website.
Thank you,

Artfully,

Anna Maly aka Laanni

PS. Needless to say you can start practicing interaction by posting your comment to this blog ;-)

I can't agree more.

I will see if I can check out your works. Let me know how I can do that. You do not have many blog deposits. :)

Peace and blessings Laanni
