This is a temporary, part-time position for a 12-week period, beginning in mid-October. The workload will be 15 hrs/week at a rate of $40/hr. There is the possibility that the role could be extended to a full-time position with a broader scope at a future point.
The Brooklyn Museum is seeking an experienced and proactive Community Outreach Organizer for the upcoming exhibition A Crack in the Hourglass: A COVID- 19 Memorial by artist Rafael Lozano-Hemmer, which pays tribute and grieves the victims of the pandemic in New York City, an area with one of the highest number of COVID-19 deaths in the United States, and worldwide.
