Dear Community Partner:

The New York Women’s Foundation is pleased to announce that we are now accepting grant proposals for the Spring 2020 Early Investment cycle, the grant guidelines for which are attached. In this grant cycle, The Foundation is accepting proposals from organizations who have not been previously funded by The Foundation who meet the following criteria:

Are a registered 501(c)(3) or have a 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor;
Are located within and operating within the five boroughs of New York City; and
Have been in existence for at least six months

The New York Women’s Foundation understands that to invest in the long-term economic security of women; girls; and transgender, gender nonconforming, and non-binary (TGNCNB) people living at or below the poverty line in New York City means also investing in the sustainability, growth, and success of effective leaders, programs and organizations. In addition, since its inception, The Foundation has been driven by its core value of supporting solutions and leaders that are authentically anchored in their communities. Through our Early Investment strategy, we prioritize funding small and/or emerging organizations and programs implementing community-based solutions for historically under invested communities of women, girls, trans, and TGNCNB people throughout NYC.
