AMP: Artists' Meeting Place and Resource Collective

Donlavy Dance Company is currently seeking MALE & Female dancers for its exciting season 2010. 3 Male and 2 Female dancers with strong dance background & experience (ages 18-62)round out its existing 6 male member ensemble. Much of the company's work this season focuses on Marriage Equality for all. Three Major live dance venues are projected for May, September and December of this year while Video/Film work is also accomplished and shot throughout this time. Short Dance Films are shot from within the company. Any additional roles are few & subject to audition and casting. First film shoot is , "CSI," and will shoot March, 2010.

Company selections are unpaid and considered internships for the intial six months. Paid contract positions for dancers are discussed and paid after this time for performances only. Training, performance venues and opportunity are offered in exchange for time and talent.

Donlavy Dance Company is a modern dance/production company celebrating its 17 year anniversary. A Choreographers showcase, along with a one many show and the highly anticipated premeire supporting Repeal Prop 8, "Stonewall Ballet," are current projects.
We rehearse currently twice weekly Sats 3-6p and Tuesday eves 7-9:30p Rehearsal times & 3rd,4th rehearsal dates are added as we near shoot times and shows.

Audition registration is at 2:30p. Audition @3p at Dance Arts Academy located at 731 S.LaBrea, LA CA 90036 this Saturday, Feb 6.
Please submit headshot and resume to info@donlavydancecompany.com b4. Please arrive at least 30 minutes early & plan to stay for 2 hours. Please wear clothing you can move in, Dancers, Company Manager and Director will be available for a quick meet & greet. Rehearsals begin Feb 6.
