The Changing Times Tap Dance Company, Inc. is excited to share we are now accepting applications for the 2025-26 cycle of the Changing Times Tap Initiative.
Since 1979, artistic director Jane Goldberg has worked to fulfill the company's mission: to develop, produce, and present the creation of new tap dancing work, entertain and educate the public about tap dance history, and preserve and maintain one of America's only indigenous dance forms.
Examples of projects eligible for the initiative include tap-related choreography, live performances, festivals, sponsored educational activities (ie. tap classes), podcasts, research and writing (books, articles on tap), archives, and films.

The Museum of Arts and Design is accepting applications for the 2025 Burke Prize. The Burke Prize is a biannual contemporary art prize for a new generation of artists working in a world of expanded media with a foundation in glass, fiber, clay, metal, or wood. Selected by a diverse and distinguished jury of curators, artists, and scholars through an open-call application process, the Burke Prize winner receives an unrestricted award of 50,000 USD.

February 11 | Rauschenberg Dancer Emergency Grants Cycle 17
This national program provides one-time grants of up to $3,000 to professional dancers facing dire financial emergencies, due to the loss or lack of recent/current live performance work, because of circumstances outside of their control. Common circumstances include canceled performances, cutbacks or cancellations of dance engagement contracts, loss of touring opportunities, illness or injury, and ongoing shutdowns due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact.

February 20 | Rauschenberg Medical Emergency Grants Cycle 28
**Extended only for Los Angeles County-based artists**
This national program provides one-time grants of up to $5,000 for recent unexpected medical, dental, and mental health emergencies to artists in financial need who are creating in the visual arts, film/video/electronic/digital arts, and choreography and live in the United States, the District of Columbia, a Tribal Nation, or a U.S. Territory. Grants may be requested for expenses already paid, pending, or for treatment the artist is putting off due to lack of funds. Cycle 29 will open Tuesday, February 11 at 10:00 AM ET.
