FIFTH INTERNATIONAL ARTISTS’ BOOK EXHIBITION 2013
King St. Stephen Museum in Székesfehérvár, Hungary is a county museum with a
range of rich collections (archaeology, ethnography, local history, modern
and contemporary art). The city is about 60 kilometers from Budapest. The
museum started to work in the field of artists’ books twenty-five years ago.
In 1987 we organized the First International Artists’ Book Exhibition. There
were about 300 works presented and later donated to the museum by the
artists, thus establishing the first and still the only artists’ book
collection in Hungary owned by a museum. As the years went by, our
collection increased and we entered into relations with artists, archives
and centers (e.g. Franklin Furnace Archives, New York and Guy Bleus’s
World-renowned SHEN YUN PERFORMING ARTS Company is recruiting professional musical performers from instrumental musicians and graduates of all musical schools in Southern California while performing at Segerstrom Center for the Arts on Jan 18-20, 2013 and Dorothy Chandler Pavilion on Jan 25-27, 2013.

Founded in 1992, Side Street Projects is an entirely mobile artist-run
organization that gives artists of all ages the ability and the means to
support their creative endeavors. Simply put, we teach artists how to
roll up their sleeves and do things themselves. Each year we serve
10,000 individual (adult) artists and over 2,000 children.
Since 1997, we have taught design and fabrication through a tool-based
woodworking curriculum to literally thousands of children throughout
L.A. County through Alternate Routes. We also provide support services
to contemporary visual artists, with programs including Artist Projects

The Skirball Cultural Center, Los Angeles, seeks 8-10 puppetry performances for a one-day Family Puppet Festival on Sunday, April 7, 2013. The Festival will feature a wide range of puppetry, from small to large scale, utilizing diverse media, and drawing on a variety of cultural traditions.
About the Skirball:
*Position Description*:
The Presenter will provide an introduction to theater arts to students. The
presentation and content has already been developed. This position reports
directly to the Education Coordinator. He/she will have a commitment to
performing arts and must embrace an "out-of-the-box", edgy approach to
presenting. He/she is enthusiastic, resourceful, and will create excitement
in the audience about the arts.
*Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:*
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage the audience, particularly the youth
- Prior experience in opera/musical Broadway
- Creative and passionate about the arts
*Special Requirements:*
- Ability to work as needed basis.
- Ability to have transportation.
