The Taller Portobelo Norte Summer Art Colony is now accepting project
proposals
for its three week residency program in Portobelo, Panama.

Geared towards Students, Emerging and Professional Artists and Scholars
interested in the arts and cultures of the African Diaspora, Ethnographic
and Anthropological Research, Spanish and Latin American Studies, and
responsible and ethical tourism, this years Art Colony will take place from
June 30th to July 21st in the bayside town of Portobelo in Panama.

The 2013 Summer Art Colony is open to project proposals from Emerging and
Professional Visual, Literary and Musical Artists and Scholars and
Researchers.

Censorship around the world. Purfict is a safe haven for artists to express
their ideas without fear of judgement, even if other publications have turned

The selected artist will spend up to 4 days in the School of Contemporary Sciences' Division of Environment and Forensics exploring revolutionary forensic techniques.

Sculpture Conservation Studio seeks qualified candidates for the position of Senior Conservator.

This person will be required to examine prospective projects, write treatment proposals and treatment reports, correspond with clients as well as conserve sculptures, artifacts, and architectural elements from different time periods and in all materials. This person will be responsible for the studio's project management, including time management and organization of the studio's staff.

Minimum Requirements:

- Five years of demonstrated experience in conservation and the ability to furnish references that attest to excellent work performance.
