1. We are looking for performance artists, for Friday May 12 from 7-10pm (plus preparation time) at the New Museum, NYC
The performances need to be death related.
Artists working in contemporary performance art, visual performance art, sound art, music, and movement based practices are encouraged to apply.
Please send the description of your work (100-200 words), images, and videos to hhjwny@gmail.com.
The work doesn’t need to be new or recent, we are more interested in intensity: in breathtaking, mind blowing, astonishing, awareness building, touching, exciting… performances.
Please submit only performances of either about 5 min or endurance performances of about 1-3 hours.
