Associate Professor of Art & Technology, tenure-track. We seek an
outstanding individual with significant teaching experience and an emerging
or established international reputation. The ideal candidate will have a
broad experience, with knowledge and accomplishments in computational media,
animation and experimental gaming, with fluency in multimedia; additional

The Wassaic Project Residency Program has been created to cultivate and
support community for emerging and professional contemporary artists.
Housed in a historic re-purposed livestock auction barn and nearby house,
the Residency Program offers eight artists the opportunity to live and work
in the heart of a rural community and offers three local artists studio
space. The Wassaic Project seeks a group of artists working in a diverse
range of media who want to produce, explore, challenge, and expand on their
As part of New York City's Age-Friendly NYC initiatives, the Department of
Cultural Affairs has worked with the City's local arts councils and the
Department for the Aging on Space for Art, a new program that makes free
studio space available for artists in senior centers across the five
boroughs. Through Space for Art, artists provide programming at their
senior center in exchange for free work space.
Applications for participation are available through the local arts

NYC's renowned outdoor political spectacular theatrical company is seeking

other Extraordinary Performers for our September 2010 tour of New York City
parks.
Circus Amok is a one ring, no animal NON-PROFIT circus/theater company
dedicated to social change and fabulous spectacle.
Auditions will be held at our Brooklyn Rehearsal Space:
Saturday, January 23 - 3:00pm-5:30pm
Rehearsals run May through August with approximately 15-20 paid performances
in September.

The Hollywood Entertainment Museum (HEM) is currently seeking afterschool instructors to teach students:
VIDEO PRODUCTION
AUDIO PRODUCTION
DRAWING/ANIMATION
SCRIPTWRITING
We have 3 Printmaker positions available. One position is for our South LA location; one for our Downtown LA location and one for our San Pedro location. Please indicate which location you are interested in applying for.
We nurture gifted artists with developmental disabilities. Our success is due to the chemistry between the Artists and Art Instructors who use their personal artmaking process to guide our artists through their projects.
We are looking for individuals who:
1. Are technically skilled, but isn't obsessed with it.
2. Can think outside the box with projects
3. Is intuitive and creative
4. Has an extensive portfolio and strong work ethic
5. Loves contemporary art and has a strong knowledge of contemporary artists.
