Vox Novus is calling for 60-second fixed-media works for the 2011 mix of 60x60 Canada.

The Canadian mix is open for all Canadian artists or artists who reside in Canada. If you are a Canadian living abroad, please add the note “(Canadian)” to the “Address Line 2” field in the submission engine to assure consideration for the Canadian mix.
All Canadian submissions will also be considered for the international 60x60 mix.
Non-Canadian submissions are also welcome for the International mix (through the same submission engine).

area. We are seeking a dynamic individual working in technology-based art

DESCRIPTION
Hexagram Concordia will be hosting CLIEC 2011 – a one-day colloquium focused on live and interactive electroacoustic music, organized in collaboration with the Music Department.
The event will take place on Saturday, March 26th 2011 and will include paper sessions, a roundtable discussion, and an evening concert.

ACE GALLERY, an internationally recognized art gallery specializing in art
form the 1960's to the present, seeks a highly qualified professional with
museum experience to assume the position of Senior Preparator. Only
applicants interested in a long-term career opportunity should apply.
This position will be responsible for:
* Management and coordination of installations and de-installations with
Director and Head of Operations
* Responsible for handling, crating (including building crates), packing,
and transportation of artwork to and from the galleries in the gallery
truck
* Liaison with transportation companies, hardware and other
manufacturers for components of artwork
* Supervise temporary crew members for installation

- Traditionally open only to homeless theatre companies, the 2011-12 [Inside] the Ford Winter Partnership Program is now also open to theatre companies with permanent spaces that have budgets under $500,000.
- The Program provides an opportunity for three theatre companies to produce in one of the best under 99-seat theatres in Los Angeles County, at a highly subsidized cost and with significant marketing, box office and house management support.

The Artist Welcoming Committee: New York City Branch seeks guests of honor
for Welcome to New York! the first in a series of celebrations intended as a
hail and welcome for a promising batch of artists new to New York City's
arts community. Inaugural event will be at EFA Project Space February 24th,
2011.
To be considered please submit 5 jpg images of recent work, a short artist
statement, and a paragraph or two letting us know a bit about you - why you
decided to move to NYC, what your plans are, and why we should choose you to
be honored. We more interested in seeing your shining personality and
creative potential than hearing a laundry list of past accomplishments.
KEYHOLDER RESIDENCY PROGRAM
The Keyholder Residency Program offers emerging artists free 24-hour access to printmaking facilities to develop new work and foster their artistic careers. Residencies are one year long, starting on April 1, 2011, and take place in the Printshop’s shared Artists’ Studio. Facilities are available for intaglio, relief, monoprint, waterbased silkscreen, digital processes, and other techniques that employ the tools at hand.
