ARCOmadrid is launching its 2013 edition with Turkey as Guest Country, to be held on 13–17 February next year. As it continues evolving into a fair for discovery and exploration, it will continue to focus on the artists and the programmes of the participating galleries, while introducing new initiatives promoting its facet as a meeting place bringing together the most active professionals and international collectors.

Lower East Side Printshop is pleased to announce the EDITIONS ‘12: EXHIBITION OPENING AND CATALOGUE LAUNCH on Thursday, May 10. The exhibition will be on view at the Printshop from May 10 – July 8, 2012. With a catalogue essay by Roberta Waddell, a renowned print expert and former Curator of Prints at the New York Public Library, the catalogue and exhibition feature new works created by recipients of the Printshop’s Special Editions and Publishing Residencies: Hong Seon Jang, Jennie C. Jones, Darina Karpov, and David Kramer, and Enoc Perez.

The Creative Capital | Warhol Foundation Arts Writers Grant Program supports writers whose work addresses contemporary visual art through project-based grants, ranging from 3,000 to 50,000 USD, issued directly to individual authors. The first program of its type, it was founded in recognition of both the financially precarious situation of arts writers and their indispensable contribution to a vital artistic culture. The Arts Writers Grant Program aims to support the broad spectrum of writing on contemporary visual art, from general-audience criticism to academic scholarship.
Prague Summer Theatre School 2012 at the Theatre Faculty of the Academy of
Performing arts in Prague (DAMU). Application deadline just around the
corner!
All applications must be received by April 30th, 2012. The PSTS admits
qualified students on a first-come, first-served basis.
The PSTS is still accepting applications for courses in authorial and
alternative theatre forms, puppetry, set design, and mask making &
performance. Courses are in English and will take place at DAMU, located in
the heart of Prague's historical center.
The PSTS is an excellent way for non-Czech speaking students to acquaint
themselves with DAMU, especially for those who may be interested in applying
to its Erasmus program and/or the M.A. programs in English. University
