INTERNATIONAL THEATRE LAB IS SEEKING committed enthusiastic individuals to join our team for a full-time summer internship at our Theatre Centre in Bjørke, Norway. The duration of the internship will be three months or less, with a minimum of one month, between June and August 2012. During this period, the interns will be exposed to intensive theatre training and creation, and will be sharing duties with staff members that include marketing, administration, community outreach and housekeeping.
CONDITIONS OF INTERNSHIP: Internships are to be viewed as a training opportunity and are unpaid. However, we cover accommodation and meals for the selected applicants. Travel expenses remain the responsibility of the intern.

Venice Arts seeks a versatile, accomplished, and committed filmmaker,
educator, and manager for its Art Mentoring Program. Working under the
supervision of the Director of Programs, this position's roles
include development of the film and animation programs (including
comics), teaching, and program oversight in key areas.
Qualifications: The qualified candidate is an excellent arts education
manager, experienced filmmaker, and educator; experienced teaching film
to youth preferred, as is a background and interest in documentary film
and community storytelling. Familiarity with participant produced media
a plus. A high level of computer proficiency is required, including
being expert with current innovations in film and digital arts software

Venice Arts Gallery invites you to enter our Summer Juried Exhibition—*The
Elements: Earth, Wind, Fire & Water.* Artists are asked to respond to the
theme of the elements and how they view the components that make up our
world, literally or conceptually. The exhibition is open to artists working
in photography, film, video, and digital/new media. Winning entries will be
shown at the Venice Arts Gallery June 30-August 10, 2012, with an opening
reception for the artists on Saturday, June 30th, 5-8pm. Regional,
national, and international entries are accepted. Submissions accepted
through June 11th.

The purpose of this ongoing, competitive grant program is to capture and share compelling stories from and about California's diverse communities. The mission of the Buena Park Exhibiting Artist Program is to provide exhibition opportunities for new and emerging artists and to create a visual dialogue between artists and the Buena Park community.
The program currently accepts submissions in the following categories: photography, drawing/painting, graphic design and mixed media. Interested artists are encouraged to submit their artist statement, resume or C.V. and 10-15 hi-res jpeg images of their work. Qualified submissions will be reviewed annually by the Exhibiting Artist committee and selected artists will be contacted for exhibition.
