The UnionDocs Collaborative Studio (CoLAB) is a one-year program for a select group of 12 emerging media artists from the US and abroad. Based in one of NYC's most exciting neighborhoods, Williamsburg, Brooklyn, CoLAB offers a platform for exploring contemporary approaches to the documentary arts and a process for developing a collaborative project. Key benefits include:

Assistant Registrar - MOCA The Museum of Contemporary Art Los Angeles

Overview
The Assistant Registrar will coordinate the documentation and handling
of new acquisitions to the Permanent Collection in accordance with the
museum's acquisition procedures. In addition, this position will
operate The Museum System (TMS) collection management database at the
administrator level, including the creation of Crystal Reports; generate
correspondence; provide general collection and exhibition support;
provide administrative support to the Registration Department; and
perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

§ Three years of museum registrarial experience

§ Knowledge of proper art handling and packing practices

§ Must be organized and detail orientated

MOCA Retail Operations Coordinator

Overview
This position coordinates the functions of the Retail Operations
Department; provides support to the MOCA Store Manager and Director of
Retail Operations; performs daily operating procedures and
troubleshooting on store computer; produces weekly, end-of-month, and
inventory reports.

Requirements

* Possession of effective interpersonal skills for working
effectively with vendors, manufacturers, and company representatives
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple
projects simultaneously
* Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and flexible
* Strong administrative and recordkeeping skills

The Center for Sustainable Practice in the Arts (CSPA) announces the 2012 Fringe
Festival Award for Sustainable Production at the Hollywood Fringe Festival. The
CSPA Fringe Festival Award for Sustainable Production is designed to reward
sustainable practice in the production of a fringe show. The winner will be
announced at the Fringe Awards Ceremony on June 24th at 7:00pm, and will receive
a plaque and a feature article in an upcoming edition of the CSPA Quarterly, the
CSPA's print publication highlighting the most exciting work being done in
sustainability and the arts.
