Greenway Arts Alliance a nonprofit arts and educational organization is seeking a part-time theatre Production Manager/Producing Director

Reports to the two Co-Founders/Artistic Directors of the organization. Must have minimum 3 years of theatre management and producing experience. Must be proficient in contract negotiations, management, budgets, databases and ability to work well with creative people.

Byrdcliffe Residencies offer uninterrupted work time to visual artists,
writers and composers:

The Byrdcliffe Artist in Residence program provides visual artists, writers
and composers of exceptional talent with uninterrupted time and creative
space within the serene natural setting of the historic Byrdcliffe Art
Colony. Lasting between three and six weeks, Byrdcliffe’s residencies
provide artists with private studio space within a community of peers.
Artists are invited to participate in open studios, work-shares, communal
dinners and field trips, or may spend their residency working in the
creative solitude of their studio. Byrdcliffe’s residencies are
particularly beneficial to those who find it restorative to live in a

The 2013 Parent/Choreographer Space Grant will be granted to a total of two
choreographers who are parents of preschool age (0-4) children, and are
trying to meet the challenges of being an artist and a parent. Selected
artists receive 40 hours of space Monday-Friday between the hours of 9am
-3pm between April 1-June 30, 2013. Awarded rehearsal space will be used in
any of our four rehearsal spaces located in the BAX BUILDING at 421 Fifth
Avenue, Park Slope.

We are happy to announce the second year of this program. It is an
initiative by BAX/Brooklyn Arts Exchange, funded in part by The Andrew W.
Mellon Foundation to address some of the needs of choreographers who are
trying to meet the challenges of being an artist and a parent to preschool

221A is an artist-run centre located in Vancouver, Canada with a mandate to support the advancement of contemporary art that explores design as a subject.
